Tips on bike routes
• Vejbystrand. Cycle along the coast north towards Vejbystrand, and even further if you wish. There are several lovely beaches along the way, such as Skepparkroken's and Magnarp's beach, and finally Vejbystrand. The trip back and forth will be a total of about 35 km, with several restaurants along the road and good places for both swimming and picnics.
• Lergöksrundan. A bike route with signposts, 16 km long, starting from central Ängelholm. Here you cycle along the Rönne river through the city, and out to the coast with a view of the sea and through Kronoskogen - Ängelholm's beach forest. You will come to a 6 km long sandy beach, and here you can also take a break to see the "UFO monument".
• Ängelholm's beach forest. A popular bathing beach surrounded by unique environment, with dunes, pine forests and swamp forests, filled with rich bird life. Around Kronoskogen and the nature reserve there are hiking trails, picnic areas and a barbecue area.
Rent a bike to Kattegattleden along the sea
Make sure to try out the well-known and fantastic bike trail Kattegattleden, which you can cycle in two different directions from Ängelholm. Cycle along the coast north to reach Båstad after 36 km. You cycle through towns and fishing villages, past Vejbystrand and Skepparkroken, with farm shops, cafés and restaurants along the way.
If you cycle in the other direction on the Kattegattleden from Ängelholm, you will reach Höganäs after 40 km. On this route, you get to experience the peninsula Kulla (Kullahalvön), great views and places to visit such as vineyards, cafés surrounded by nature, and farm shops.
Mountain biking in Ängelholm
You can find mountain bike trails in Ängelholm's beach forest, Kronoskogen. The area where you're allowed to cycle is marked, and here you can cycle both freely in the terrain and on the bike trails.
